For most boxes, the measurements are

THE INSIDE DIMENSIONS of the box.

LENGTH : From Left to Right: in mm

WIDTH: From Front to Back: in mm

DEPTH: Height from Top to Bottom: in mm

How to measure a box

With specialty cartons consider the opening as

running the length of the carton

How to measure your product

Applying the same format as above measure each side of

your product

If your product is oddly shaped it is often useful to

place it into a corner and measure out from the flat

surfaces of the corner

Please note:

With most cartons the opening is considered to be on top of the carton.

Length is mostly the longer of the other measurements
